No. Your iPhone is enough: prop it against a wall facing you, or lay it flat on the floor below your face, and leave enough room to move.
After you calibrate your high and low positions, the front camera follows your face. A push-up counts after each full high, low, high cycle. It all happens on your iPhone, with no screen taps.
Yes. The smallest challenge is 5 push-ups, and the “Stay in shape” and “Build a habit” programs start there. You can change your challenge at any time in the settings.
There is no universal number. REP RUSH offers games of 5 to 20 push-ups and, depending on your goal, 3 to 5 games a week. Start at your level and stop if you feel pain.
No. Game tracking runs on your device. REP RUSH does not save or transmit camera images.
Yes. When you finish creating your hero, you join the leaderboard with your nickname and city: city, country and world, on your trophies or on the week’s points, which reset every Monday. You can remove your data from the leaderboard at any time.
No. It estimates a movement cycle from the camera rather than analyzing your whole body’s form. Tracking still needs testing on more physical devices.
An Android foundation exists, but Google Play billing and device testing still need to be completed.
