01How the push-up counter works
Before you play, show the app your high position, arms straight, then your low position. REP RUSH remembers both. During the game, the front camera follows your face: a push-up counts when you go from the high position to the low one and back up. Lowering alone is not enough.
02On the floor or against a wall
There are two placements: your iPhone flat on the floor below your face, screen up, or standing against a wall, screen facing you. Either way, keep your face in frame and leave room to move. The calibration screen tells you when the framing isn’t right.
03A counter that waits for a full movement
If your face leaves the frame, another person appears or you turn your head, tracking pauses instead of counting at random. Get back in position and the game carries on. The counter estimates a movement; it does not judge your whole push-up form.
04Nothing is filmed or sent
Camera frames are analysed on your iPhone to estimate the position of your face. REP RUSH does not record or transmit them.
05More than a counter: a push-up game
Every counted push-up moves the hero: lower to pass under the barrel, rise to collect coins. At the end, the summary shows your push-ups, trophies, XP and coins, and your trophies raise your league from Bronze to Challenger.
