01Four goals, four programs
When you first open the app, choose what you want: build muscle, get stronger, stay in shape or build a habit. Each goal sets a pace of 3 to 5 games a week and a gradual rise in the challenge. For “Build muscle”, for example: 8 push-ups per game in week one, then 12, 12 and 20, four games a week.
02A beginner-friendly start
The “Stay in shape” and “Build a habit” programs start at 5 push-ups per game. If your height and weight suggest it, the first two weeks start one step lower. You can also pick your own challenge in the settings; the program then hands you the controls.
03What about the 30-day push-up challenge?
The first four weeks of the program make a real one-month push-up challenge, in short games: 208 push-ups in total for “Build muscle”, for example. After that, your challenge stays at the level reached, and REP RUSH shows you where your trophies will take you after 56 days.
04Should you do push-ups every day?
That’s not what REP RUSH suggests: depending on your goal, the program plans 3 to 5 games a week, with days off. A short, regular set is easier to keep up than an ambitious challenge dropped after a week. If you feel pain, stop and adjust your pace.
05How many push-ups a day?
There is no number that suits everyone. In REP RUSH, a game has 5, 8, 12 or 20 push-ups, and a 20 push-up game takes about two minutes. Start at a level where you can finish your set cleanly, then let the program raise the challenge.
06Your progress, visible in the game
Every push-up earns a trophy, and every finished game two more. Trophies raise your league from Bronze to Challenger and open new arenas. The program does not measure your strength; it gives you a reason to come back, week after week.
